William Haggas has won this race, or a division of it, three times in the last four seasons (no representative in the 2024 renewal) so Song Of The Clouds has to be high on the shortlist. Ombudsman's sister Synchronicity, Sapphire Secret and Seet were all big-money purchases who boast strong paper claims, while Tarrant (second choice) looks the pick of Richard Hannon's three runners.
