Verdict
Pocklington had a few of these behind him when rewarding heavy support at Southwell on New Year's Day, but he would be no banker to confirm those placings with Coul Angel (second choice) who had a torrid run through the final furlong. Ten Pounds and Fivethousandtoone are classy contenders who can feature, while The Caltonian and Sergeant Wilko are lively outsiders. None appeals more than GERMANIC (nap) though, with Julie Camacho's 5yo having shown smart form in his two C&D runs.
