Verdict
None of the five are easy to rule out, but with the form of the race in which Darzah and Luna Celeste finished first and second at Newmarket last month taking a couple of knocks, it may be best to focus on the other trio. The sole 4yo beat four 3yos in this race last year which is good news for Great Mates, while the form of the race in which Distant Shore (second choice) was beaten a head at Sandown last month is working out well. However, PORTH EILIAN has shown a real liking for fast ground in her two victories this year and she can continue the good work under suitable conditions.[David Bellingham]
