Verdict

Very open, a tentative vote going to BORN BRAVER, whose Irish National run could have come too soon after his Ulster National success where he relished the stamina test. Uncle Pat chased home the selection that day but even on these revised terms may not reverse the form over this longer trip, he being closely matched with Built By Ballymore on their Grand National Trial running here in February. Will Do looks nicely treated on his best form, while lightly-weighted Down Royal winner Brucejack and the relatively unexposed J'Arrive de l'Est are also worth considering. [Alan Hewison]
