Verdict
Willie Mullins landed the past three runnings of this contest with State Man, but this time it is LOSSIEMOUTH's turn to shine. She justified connections' decision to line up in the Champion Hurdle when comfortably landing her tenth Grade 1 success and it will be a shock if she doesn't maintain her unbeaten record at this venue. William Munny hasn't been seen since runner-up in last season's Supreme but would be in the mix if at his peak. Anzadam has a place chance if putting it all together, while County Hurdle winner Wilful needs to improve again now entering Grade 1 company, but is thriving. [Denis Harney]
