SMOOTH OPERATOR (1) Had difficulty when 6th last time at Phar Lap Raceway but up against a less competitive field. Gets the perfect barrier. Rising in weight. Better hope. TARAMEA LAD (6) Hit the line well when 3rd beaten by 2 1/4L last time at Gore. Has a nice turn of foot. Good chance and wouldn't be surprised to see it pick up a win. PAR TEE (4) Average at best when 6th last run at Gore. Should race on the speed. Include in chances.
