Verdict
The only one of these to have won this year, Angelardo, hasn't reproduced that form since but still must be feared and is second choice. The vote, though, goes to RING FENCED, who hasn't won since 2023 but whose second over C&D last time was encouraging. She could be ready to strike again. Others to consider are stable debutant Rose Warrior, who ran well enough when last seen, and Hickton, who won twice last year.[Andrew Bladen]
