Verdict
A race which to some degree revolves around recent Market Rasen scorer COOLER THAN ME. The slightly shorter trip this afternoon may not be ideal but deeper ground offsets that to some degree and he escapes a penalty (due to be 7lb higher from Saturday). Gower Spirit arrives in form and goes well in the mud so might be a more solid option for the forecast spot than Broomfield Gale, who triumphed over 2m here last month but faces very different ground conditions today.
