Verdict
The 12yo Beacon Edge was a class act in his prime, admittedly chiefly over hurdles, and is an intriguing candidate on his hunter chase debut. However, preference is for the 8yo GOLDEN SON who looked good when winning a hunter chase at Warwick last month. Beacon Edge is feared most ahead of recent Hereford winner Snipe.[Ben Hutton]
