Jaitroplaclasse (second choice) ran well in first-time cheekpieces at Ludlow last month, while cases can also be made for Falco Des Pins, Storming Nelson and Nedzor. However, PALAWAN DU MAZET is now 2lb lower than when readily beating a next-time-out winner to finish first (subsequently disqualified) in this race a year ago and will be hard to beat if last month's reappearance run did him good.[Chris Wilson]
