NEW CASTLE (5) Resuming after a spell. Gave away some ground when 14th last start at Ellerslie but challenged by weaker competitors. Should race on the speed. Will be competitive. ZEFFERT (9) Kept chasing when 5th last run at this venue on a heavy track and gets a favourable draw. Capable of forward showing and can be competitive. LAGISQUET (8) Finished 9th last start at Te Rapa but stepping down to a lower level. Tom Wigram provides some weight relief. Can win at odds.
