AFTERGLO (4) Was competitive when 2nd last start at Pukekura and has been racing in stronger company. Expected to be flashing home. Has the ability to take this out. MUSCOVADO (5) Missed by a narrow margin last start at Te Aroha on a heavy surface and strong performer at the trip. Displays very good finishing speed. A win wouldn't surprise. ZANZIBAR (2) Ran 4th last start at Pukekura. Capable of bouncing back and matched against lesser competition. Will be pushing for a forward position early. Returns to an increased distance. Expect to go close. HEZA SHARP ONE (3) Finished 7th last time at this track but dropping in class. Should muster plenty of early speed. Good to see Matthew Cartwright is jumping on and gets the perfect gate. Could run into the money.
