Verdict
Preference is for BLESSED VOYAGER, who made a bright start with his win at Newbury in April. He has a penalty to deal with after a gelding operation, but he's bred to be useful and is open to progress on this step up in trip. The main danger is Statten Island, who had an excuse on soft ground at Ayr last time and sets the standard on his debut fourth at York in May. Blakey Ridge is also in the mix, while the pick of the newcomers could be Meccapulco.[David Moon]
