Verdict
A few of these need a good look, not least Rising Force (second choice) who is doing so well for his new yard and had something in hand when winning over C&D last time. The low draw is a query for one who has been held up for his two recent wins, though, and preference is for MILITARY LEADER who was impressive on the AW last week. Given his star-studded pedigree, it's not fanciful to think he can do better yet. The 2024 winner Hale End may have been slightly fortunate to beat Rajapour at Wetherby but he also makes some appeal.[Emily Weber]
