Verdict
Though disappointing in a Kilbeggan bumper when last seen, THE MONKEY POLE had earlier been runner-up in two maiden hurdles, including here. A repeat of that form would see him score. Time Is A Thief is better than he showed on hurdles debut and can be a player. Lord Lackendarra ran well in a bumper here so could do so again. [Tyrone Molloy]
