Verdict
Keppel Queen had a dire first experience of fences in January but hopefully that is water under the bridge after a good round of jumping over hurdles on her recent yard debut. She is much respected but EXPRESS SURPRISE has brushed up on that jumping front and, with the return to good ground unlikely to be a problem, he can go on from his Wetherby win. River Voyage is not yet the same force over fences as hurdles but there's plenty of time for him to raise his game in this sphere.[Emily Weber]
