MY QUALITA PIYA (8) has been eliminated as often as not but has bags of ability. She produced a fine effort over course and distance in early-December, will be competitively-shod for the first time, and can finally open her Vincennes account. MA AM CHENU (2) is not the easiest to handle either but her ability is not in question, and with application can play a leading role. MARA BEST (14) gave a reassuringly good performance under these very conditions 3 weeks ago and can deliver once more, provided she keeps trotting. Placed here last summer, MARILYN MONROE (4) left a good impression at Cagnes earlier this month; she races barefoot this time and with form maintained, can confirm.
