Verdict
Cool Hoof Luke shaped well at Lingfield after his lengthy absence and if he can build on it then he would hold excellent claims judged on his Gimcrack-winning form. There are some interesting opponents though and both Palmar Bay and PRINCE OF INDIA could have more to offer this year. The selection made good progress as a 3yo and although his best runs were at 6f, he is far from exposed over this distance. Ferrous and Marshman have the form to feature but both have to prove their stamina.[Paul Smith]
