Verdict
Topweight BATHARA (nap) made an inauspicious start to his hurdling career last season but he showed considerable improvement when third in a Warwick maiden in May and, if judged on his winning bumper form, could have a lot more to offer in handicaps. Traveling Soldier (second choice) ran well in defeat off today's mark over fences in July and looks quite interesting on his return to hurdling, while this drop back in trip could be the right move for Ikigai Star.[Chris Wilson]
