Verdict
Leadman operated in higher grades for almost all of last season and looks the headline candidate following his strong-travelling and strong-finishing second in another 22-runner Class 4 over C&D eight days ago. However, he'll probably have to come from the back again and dangers await in that task. Preference is for RASCAL RECKNELL who's turned over something of a new leaf for his new trainer Mick Appleby this season and still has more to give. Plenty have each-way claims but third and fourth on the list are Feel The Need and Beale Street.[Richard Austen]
