Jonathan David is backed for 2+ shots on target for our first pick, with the Canada striker making an immediate impact at Atletico since his loan move from Juventus. David has had 1.5 shots on target per 90 minutes in LaLiga so far and with Barcelona already conceding 12 goals this season, four fewer than Sunday's opponents, there should be opportunities for the 26-year-old to test the goalkeeper.
Raphinha's switch to a more central role is proving a masterstroke by Hansi Flick, with the Brazilian already just a goal off 20 for the season in all competitions, having scored twice in Barca's 3-0 win over Aston Villa in the Champions League. The forward has scored in all but two of the LaLiga games he has featured in this campaign and scored against Atleti last season, so we are backing him to score once again.
Atletico haven't put up the numbers Barca have in front of goal this season, but they have netted in 13 out of 14 of their matches this season. It feels unlikely the Blaugrana will be stopped from scoring after a prolific campaign this season, but their expansive style of play should see the hosts celebrate a goal too.
This match is a tough one to call, with a draw more than possible, but we are going with a Barcelona victory in the Spanish capital. Barca have only lost to Real Madrid this season and have also beaten Atleti in six of the last eight meetings, so our experts are backing another win for Flick's men here, which would give them a huge advantage in the LaLiga title race.
