Taurus Bay - Aintree - 13:50 race odds
Bluey - Aintree - 15:00 race odds
Vol Royale - Aintree - 15:35 race odds
We kick things off on Sunday up at Aintree with Taurus Bay, who is obviously one of our better novice chasers going into the season, all being well. He's been schooling brilliantly, he seems in brilliant order. It's his first run of the year so he will come on for it fitness-wise, but he's definitely fit enough for the first time out.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how he takes to it. I can't really fault anything going into Sunday. He'll be the one I'm most looking forward to on the day, because I think he can beat anything.
We've then got Bluey in the big race - and she's great at the moment. She progressed last season, and every time we thought she was just getting at her handicap mark, she just kept improving and improving. You never know, a break might have done her the world of good, and she can improve again. She's probably going to need to improve again to fit in this type of grade. But she's got no weight on her back, she goes well fresh and she's been in brilliant order at home, so I'm very much looking forward to giving it a go with her.
I then finish the day with Vol Royale for Kayley Woollacott in a two-and-a-half-mile handicap. It's one I don't know a whole lot about, but he progressed last season, and has won a few, so he's gone up in the handicap, but not to a ridiculous mark. Kayley's horses seem to be in brilliant order, and hopefully this one is fit and ready to go first time out. If he's in the same kind of form as the rest of the stable, then he should hopefully be bang there for us.
