Bradley Barcola heads to the Gtech Community Stadium after scoring a Champions League hat-trick in midweek

Brentford welcome Liverpool to West London looking to extend their unbeaten start to the Premier League season. The Bees have taken 10 points from six matches, while the Reds are aiming to recover from their first league defeat under Andoni Iraola.
Liverpool’s 6-3 Champions League win at LASK provided a strong response from an attacking point of view, but their defensive lapses and short turnaround add another layer to Saturday’s contest. Our preview includes a predicted score, likely lineups and a four-leg Bet Builder.

Brentford have scored in all six of their Premier League matches, averaging two goals per game, while four of those six fixtures have seen both sides find the net. Liverpool have scored in each of their three league matches away from Anfield, and Wednesday’s 6-3 win at LASK showed both their attacking quality and defensive vulnerability.
Bradley Barcola should arrive in West London full of confidence after scoring three times against LASK. The French winger started on the left in Austria and produced several further attempts alongside his hat-trick. With Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo still requiring fitness checks, Barcola looks well placed for another prominent attacking role if he starts.
Four of Brentford’s opening six league matches have produced at least three goals, with the Bees scoring 12 and conceding six. Liverpool’s midweek Champions League match contained nine goals, while six of the clubs’ previous 10 meetings have cleared the 2.5-goal line.
Brentford remain unbeaten after six Premier League matches and have collected seven points from their first three home games. Liverpool have won both of their completed league away matches, but Ryan Gravenberch is suspended and Iraola has further availability questions following a midweek European trip. The Bees’ home form makes the double-chance angle worth considering.
