Ladbrokes share predictions for Leeds United vs Manchester United in the Premier League
Leeds predicted to win 2-1, with the hosts opening the scoring
Dominic Calvert-Lewin backed for a shot on target, with Harry Maguire picking up a card

After a bruising week for Manchester United, they head into the cauldron of Elland Road to take on fierce rivals Leeds in the Premier League, with ground to make up on their high-flying hosts.
Michael Carrick's side have won just one of their six league games this term, while Leeds' unbeaten start was only halted last week (by the champions, no less), so the moods could hardly be more contrasting in opposing camps this weekend - and our experts are expecting that to make all the difference.

Confidence could hardly be higher at Elland Road, with Leeds sitting pretty in seventh having lost just one game this season, and against their most hostile opponent, we're expecting them to come flying out of the blocks on Sunday. Daniel Farke's side have opened the scoring in six of their eight matches across all competitions this term, even striking first at the Emirates last week, and having scored the first goal in three of their last four meetings with Man Utd, we're expecting that trend to continue here.
The only Leeds player with more than one league goal this season, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is likely to be his side's main threat once again, and with all three of his strikes coming at Elland Road, we're tipping the striker to try his luck again here. The 29-year-old is averaging more than a shot on target per 90 in the Premier League, and has had at least one in every single home game, so against a shaky Man United defence, DCL seems a strong selection.
At the heart of a vulnerable Man United backline, Harry Maguire hasn't enjoyed the start to the season he would've wanted, and on such a raucous afternoon, we can see another yellow card coming his way. The 33-year-old has already been booked twice this season, and is committing more than a foul per 90 in the league - completing just 0.6 successful tackles per game - so coming up against such an imposing, in-form centre-forward in Calvert-Lewin, our experts are predicting another tough afternoon for Maguire.
No team has conceded fewer goals than Leeds so far this season, with the Yorkshire outfit boasting a defensive record to match Arsenal and Man City, and with the attackers also doing decent damage at the other end, we're tipping the hosts to claim all three points - and the bragging rights. Man United haven't won away from home in the league this season, while Leeds haven't lost at Elland Road since March, and with so much pressure piling on Michael Carrick, Ladbrokes are predicting yet another defeat for the Red Devils.
