Ladbrokes share predictions for Brentford vs Sunderland in the Premier League
Brentford predicted to win 2-1, with Igor Thiago scoring for the Bees
Enzo Le Fee tipped to impress, while Noah Sadiki picks up a card

Unbeaten Brentford welcome Europa League debutants Sunderland to the Gtech for an intriguing Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon, as two of last season's surprise packages go head-to-head in the capital.
Both Keith Andrews and Regis Le Bris impressed last year as they guided their sides into the top half, but a new season brings new expectations, and decent starts to the 2026/27 campaign have only lifted spirits in both camps - so we should see two confident sides having a real go here.

After scoring 22 Premier League goals in an eye-catching campaign last time out, Igor Thiago is primed to open his account for the 2026/27 season at home to Sunderland, with the Brazilian doing what he does best at the Gtech. He's already averaging more than 3.5 shots per 90 this term, and having scored in the Carabao Cup victory at Birmingham last week, Thiago is our pick to grab a goal this weekend.
At the other end, Enzo Le Fee will be tasked with making things tick for Sunderland, so we're anticipating another influential display - with the Frenchman having at least one shot on target. He hit the target with an effort against Fulham last weekend, and as the 26-year-old strives to make amends for his penalty miss in this fixture last season, we can see him testing Caoimhin Kelleher in the Brentford goal.
Sticking with Sunderland, and we're tipping combative midfielder Noah Sadiki to pick up a card at the Gtech. The 21-year-old committed a foul per 90 in the Premier League last season, and has to bring energy to the Black Cats' engine room alongside Granit Xhaka, so as he looks to disrupt the likes of Mikkel Damsgaard and Mamadou Sangare, Sadiki seems a smart pick in the cards market.
Brentford have picked up four points from their opening two games, and after thrashing Spurs at the Gtech on the opening day, our experts are backing them to make it two wins from two in front of their own fans. Only a late Leeds equaliser stopped the Bees from claiming all three points last week, and with Sunderland losing their only previous away game against Premier League new boys Ipswich, we can see this one going the way of the home team again.
