Ladbrokes shares its predictions for Everton vs Crystal Palace in the Premier League
Everton are backed to start the season with a win to extend an impressive run vs Palace
Both teams are backed to score, with Thierno Barry and Ismaila Sarr having shots on target

Everton kick off their Premier League 2026/27 campaign against a Crystal Palace side with a new manager in the dugout after Pierre Sage was appointed to replace Oliver Glasner over the summer.
While the Eagles are looking ahead to a new era following their Conference League triumph last season, the Toffees have a much more familiar face in charge, with David Moyes hoping to deliver success on Merseyside once again. After a poor finish to the last campaign which saw them finish 13th, the Scot may be under pressure if they don't make a strong start to the new season.
Here is all you need to know for Everton vs Crystal Palace, including Bet Builder tips, lineups and predictions.

After eight goals in his maiden top-flight campaign, it's been a decent pre-season for Thierno Barry, with the striker finding the net three times and seemingly claiming the starting-striker role ahead of Beto for the start of the season. With Everton at home and set to control proceedings, we're tipping the Frenchman to test Dean Henderson with at least a shot on goal.
With debate over who will start up front out of Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jorgen Strand Larsen for Palace, we have selected winger Ismaila Sarr for a shot on target instead. The Senegal international is a constant threat on the right, scoring 21 goals last season and should be key to new manager Sage's hopes of success. A shot on target therefore feels like a smart move in the second leg of our Bet Builder.
Both teams have scored in the previous five meetings between these two, with at least three goals scored in four of those five. With less on the line at the start of the season, these two will likely play with plenty of freedom and that's why we think both defences will be breached once again.
We picked a 2-1 win for Everton in our score prediction, as we do think the Toffees have the edge as Palace continue to adapt under their new manager. Everton have beaten the Eagles 2-1 in each of their last two meetings on Merseyside, while they are unbeaten against the South Londoners in an impressive 11 games. We're tipping that record to continue in their Premier League opener.
