After blanking in the opening Premier League game of the season for the first time ever, Erling Haaland returned to his usual ways by bagging a brace in Man City's 4-1 win at Crystal Palace last Friday. We think the big Norwegian follows that with another double against Coventry as he looks to retain his Golden Boot.
Maresca is yet to keep a clean sheet in his brief reign, so he'll be hoping for one against a Coventry side that have failed to score in their first two league games of the season. They had a tough assignment with trips to the Emirates and Etihad in their opening three matches, but their 1-0 home defeat to fellow promoted side Hull last week already feels quite damaging.
Rayan Cherki has been one of the early stars of the season, with two goals and two assists already so far, and playing with the freedom that lit up the division last year. Both his goals at Selhurst Park were of real quality, and we're backing him to shine again with at least one shot on target.
Coventry made Caleb Yirenkyi their club-record signing when they paid over £20million to sign him from Nordsjaelland. The 20-year-old midfielder starred for Ghana at the World Cup, scoring a stoppage-time winner against Panama, but also picked up two bookings in his four games. Yirenkyi was shown a card on the opening night against Arsenal, and we're tipping him to get booked again away at City.
