Enzo Maresca picked up his first statement win in charge of Man City as his defiant ten-men beat rivals Man Utd at Old Trafford 1-0. There were jubilant scenes in the away end and the visitors deservedly picked up three points. This is a trophy the blue half of Manchester has won seven times since 2013, and we think Norwich, currently sitting 12th in the second tier, will cause the reigning holders too many problems.
Norwich were involved in a chaotic 4-3 defeat to Middlesbrough at the weekend, and Championship matches involving The Canaries are averaging 3.7 goals per game this season. Man City might not be firing on all cylinders going forward yet, but this could be a good time to change that, and we're predicting over 3.5 goals in the match.
Iliman Ndiaye put in an impressive performance off the bench for ten-man Manchester City at Old Trafford, and his reward for that should be another start, particularly with Phil Foden suspended. We're backing Ndiaye to have at least one shot on target against Norwich.
Norwich and Panama centre-half Jose Cordoba has already collected four yellow cards and been sent off in just seven games this season. He was booked in his only previous Carabao Cup appearance this season, and we're tipping Cordoba to be shown a card again.
