Ladbrokes share a daily tip for Thursday, November 5, 2026 in the Europa League
Celtic have lost all their Europa League games this season
After surprise loss to Falkirk, we're predicting another tough day against Besiktas

Ladbrokes share an expert football tip for Thursday, November 5, with Scottish champions Celtic tipped to lose their fourth consecutive game in the Europa League.
It was a fairytale return to Celtic last season for their former manager Martin O'Neill, as they ended up securing a dramatic league and cup double with a final day win over Hearts. However, things haven't quite gone to plan this season, even if they are still top of the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic somehow conspired to throw away a four-goal aggregate goal to be knocked out of the Champions League play-offs by LASK, but the noise surrounding that quietened after six league wins to start the season. However, they were outplayed at home in an Old Firm defeat, and despite a 7-1 thumping of Hearts not long after, a damaging 2-0 defeat to Falkirk in their most recent match has turned up the heat again.
It is in Europe where they have struggled most this season. The LASK defeat was one of the most embarrassing in their history, and they have started their Europa League campaign with three consecutive losses. Up next are Turkish side Besiktas, who are yet to taste defeat in the competition this season, with two wins and a draw against Crystal Palace so far.
Former Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has had a flying start to life in Istanbul, with seven goals in eight Super Lig games, and we think he could cause all sorts of problems for a shaky Celtic defence. We're backing Besiktas to make it four straight losses for The Bhoys in the Europa League.
