Week 12 around the NFL is pretty normal because it’s the week before the American Thanksgiving. Just the typical slate and four teams on the bye: Denver, Miami, the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington. Here’s a look at all Week 12 games with NFL odds, played Sunday unless noted.

NFL Week 12 predictions: best picks against the spread

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans, Thursday

Point spread: Bills -4.5

Possible AFC playoff preview. Buffalo’s Josh Allen made a pretty compelling case to repeat as NFL MVP on Sunday when he passed for three touchdowns and ran for three in a wild 44-32 win over Tampa Bay. It was only the third game in history where a player had at least three of each and second for Allen (last season). He also tied Cam Newton for the all-time NFL rushing TD lead by a QB with 75. That’s going to be shattered. The big question is whether Houston has starting QB CJ Stroud. He suffered a concussion before halftime in Week 9 and hasn’t gone since. The Texans have managed to win the past two with Davis Mills under centre, but he’s a huge downgrade.

Pick against the spread: TBD on Stroud

Pittsburgh Steelers at Chicago Bears

Point spread: Bears -3

It’s likely 50-50 on whether Pittsburgh quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be able to play after reportedly breaking a bone in his non-throwing wrist during Sunday’s easy win over Cincinnati. The future Hall of Famer was not able to return after sustaining the injury late in the second quarter. Mason Rudolph played well in relief and is a very quality backup; some believe he’s a better option at this point than Rodgers. Chicago is your sole NFC North leader after yet another late fourth-quarter comeback win Sunday at Minnesota, 19-17. That’s a team-record five wins this season when trailing in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter.

Pick ATS: Chicago (alt -2.5)

New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals

Point spread: Patriots +7

Bengals QB Joe Burrow is getting close to his return, but it’s not going to be here. Cincinnati’s joke of a defence, meanwhile, on display again Sunday in a 34-12 loss to Pittsburgh. Cincy is now allowing 33.4 points this season, most by any NFL team since 1966. And it’s possible that star WR Ja’Marr Chase is suspended for spitting on a Pittsburgh player Sunday. New England won its eighth game in a row Sunday, 27-14 over the Jets. That’s the longest winning streak in team history without Tom Brady on the roster.

Pick ATS: Cincinnati (alt +7.5)

New York Giants at Detroit Lions

Point spread: Lions -10.5

The Giants fired coach Brian Daboll on Monday ahead of Week 11 and then went out and lost a fifth straight game, 27-20 to Green Bay. Excellent rookie QB Jaxson Dart was unable to go due to a concussion and the team wants him to change his running style due to all the hits. Pretty good chance he plays here, but Jameis Winston started in his place Sunday in a minor surprise over Russell Wilson. The Lions might have the best overall roster in the NFC but now are outside the playoff field after a 16-9 loss in Philadelphia on Sunday night. Detroit went 0-for-5 on third down and Jared Goff completed a career-low 38 percent of his passes.

Pick ATS: New York

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

Point spread: Packers -6.5

Green Bay saw top running back and touchdown machine Josh Jacobs go down injured in Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Giants, but he apparently has avoided anything major. Still may have to miss this one. That Packers offense was held under 300 yards Sunday for a fifth time this season, so it can ill afford to lose Jacobs for long. The Vikings rallied from a late 16-3 hole at home to Chicago, only to lose 19-17 on a walk-off field goal. J.J. McCarthy had two more turnovers and is up to eight picks in his five starts.

Pick ATS: Green Bay

Loading...

Seattle Seahawks at Tennessee Titans

Point spread: Seahawks -13.5

Potential trap game for Seattle after a huge one Sunday at the L.A. Rams, which the Seahawks lost 21-19 to fall out of first in the NFC West. QB Sam Darnold has been mostly excellent this season for Seattle but had four picks and has an NFL-high 30 turnovers in the past two seasons. Tennessee came out of its bye and played better Sunday but still lost a fifth straight, 16-13 vs. Houston. And the Titans lost top wideout Calvin Ridley to a season-ending injury. Just nothing good happening there in 2025.

Pick ATS: Tennessee (alt +14)

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Point spread: Chiefs -3

Another possible AFC playoff preview. Indy comes out of its bye running away with the AFC South and in a battle for the conference’s top seed. Tailback Jonathan Taylor is your Offensive Player of the Year favourite in a monster season with 1,139 yards rushing and 15 TDs, while QB Daniel Jones has been one of the comeback stories of the year, although he has definitely come a bit back to earth of late with four picks in the past two games. Kansas City’s streak of nine straight AFC West titles all but ended Sunday in a 22-19 walk-off loss in Denver. The Chiefs are now 0-5 in one-score game this year after going 12-0 in them last season. This is essentially a must-win game now.

Pick ATS: Kansas City (alt -2.5)

New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens

Point spread: Ravens -14

New York had a two-game winning streak snapped in a 27-14 loss at New England on Thursday in Week 11 and that might be it for the struggling Justin Fields at quarterback. He had just 116 yards and has totaled 497 in the past five games. Reports are the team will turn to veteran Tyrod Taylor now, not that it will matter much. Baltimore won it fourth in a row Sunday, 23-16 in Cleveland. The Ravens allowed only 163 yards, their fewest since 2023. They might not lose again this season, which shows how much things have turned around after some early struggles.

Pick ATS: New York (alt +14.5)

Cleveland Browns at Las Vegas Raiders

Point spread: Raiders -3

This could be very hard to watch offensively. Scoreless tie anyone? And it’s a short week for the Raiders after hosting Dallas on Monday night to finish Week 11. Cleveland might be turning to rookie fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders for his first NFL starts. Fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel left Sunday’s loss to Baltimore with a concussion. Sanders was brutal in relief, going 4-for-16 for 47 yards and an INT in his first NFL action. That was the worst completion percentage (25) in an NFL debut in 41 years (minimum 15 attempts).

Pick ATS: Las Vegas (alt -2.5)

Jacksonville Jaguars at Arizona Cardinals

Point spread: Jaguars -2.5

Jacksonville played its best game of the season by far on Sunday, blowing out the well-coached and visiting Chargers, 35-6, despite No. 1 Jags wideout Brian Thomas sitting a second straight game. Last week, the team also ruled out rookie WR/CB Travis Hunter for the season. Arizona lost its second game in a row Sunday, 41-22 to San Francisco despite Jacoby Brissett throwing for 452 yards and two scores while setting an NFL record with 47 completions. But the Arizona defense looks as if it has collectively quit of late.

Pick ATS: Jacksonville

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Point spread: Eagles -4.5

Short week for Dallas after visiting Las Vegas on Monday night to conclude Week 11, but the Cowboys are not catching the Eagles in the NFC East even with an upset here. Philly left a lot to be desired offensively on Sunday night but was stellar on defence in a 16-9 win over Detroit that may prove huge come playoff tiebreaker time. The Eagles have held back-to-back foes under 10 points for the first time since 2022. They did, however, lose Pro Bowl offensive tackle Lane Johnson for several weeks due to a foot injury.

Pick ATS: Dallas

Loading...

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Point spread: Saints -1.5

The Saints are probably the NFC’s worst team coming out of their bye but did snap a four-game skid with a 10-7 upset win at Carolina in Week 10. Second-round rookie QB Tyler Shough had the best game of his young starting career with 282 yards, two TDs and no picks. Atlanta lost a fifth straight Sunday (second in a row in OT) and also saw starting QB Michael Penix Jr. and top wideout Drake London get injured. Penix’s season is likely over, and London is not expected at least Week 12.

Pick ATS: New Orleans

Loading...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Rams

Point spread: Rams -6.5

Sunday night game and quite possibly an NFC playoff preview. No quarterback in the NFL is playing better than the Rams’ Matthew Stafford currently. He had two more TD passes and no interceptions again Sunday in a huge 21-19 win over Seattle as L.A. took sole possession of first in the NFC West. Stafford now has thrown 24 straight passing TDs without an INT, two shy of tying Tom Brady’s NFL record set in 2010. The Bucs are banged up a fair amount, and that’s partly why they lost for the third time in four games Sunday but those defeats also happened to come against Super Bowl contenders in the Lions, Patriots and Bills.

Pick ATS: Los Angeles

Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers, Monday

Point spread: 49ers -7

Carolina is one of the surprise teams in the NFL and surprised Atlanta on Sunday, 30-27 in OT, to win for the fifth time in seven games following a 1-3 start and already surpass last year’s win total. Panthers QB Bryce Young entered Sunday with just 364 combined passing yards in his previous three but then torched the Falcons’ top-rated pass defence for a franchise-record 448 yards. The Niners welcomed both QB Brock Purdy and top wideout Ricky Pearsall back from long injury absences Sunday and rolled up a season-high 41 points in an easy win at Arizona. The Niners have now passed their 2024 win total.

Pick ATS: Carolina (alt +7.5)
