Leg 4: Liverpool vs Arsenal - Match to end in a draw
Kicking off the Premier League weekend, Chelsea and Manchester United meet at Stamford Bridge with real points to prove after catastrophic home defeats last weekend, and it's the Blues who we're backing to get back to winning ways here.
Xabi Alonso's side fell at home to Spurs for just the second time in 40 years last weekend, but with Man United suffering their worst start to any season since 1986 - with just seven points from their opening eight league games - the visitors are in the midst of a crisis, and aren't showing any signs of recovery.
Michael Carrick remains under serious pressure in the United hot seat, and while he did lead his side to victory here last season, we expect the hosts to capitalise on the Red Devils' wretched form, delivering a strong reaction to last weekend's humbling result.
Prediction: Chelsea to win
In a repeat of Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash, Man City and Brighton collide at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon, and despite being taken to a penalty shootout in the week, we're tipping City to pick up an important victory here.
The league leaders may have lost their perfect Premier League record at Villa Park last weekend, but they remain flawless at home with four wins from four, and while Brighton do arrive as the division's highest scorers, last week's 2-0 defeat at Anfield has set the blueprint to keep them quiet.
The Seagulls are now winless in three in all competitions, while City have only lost one domestic match at the Etihad since August 2025, and with Brighton still hunting their first-ever win away at Man City, it's the fancied hosts who look primed for three points.
Prediction: Man City to win
Having finally found their feet under Roberto De Zerbi, Spurs look destined to put their back-to-back 17th-place finishes behind them, and victory this weekend would see them win three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since December 2023.
Despite Crystal Palace winning on their last two visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Eagles are looking incredibly vulnerable under Pierre Sage, with just two wins from eight seeing them start the day in 17th - and with Tottenham looking much more like their old selves in that famous win at Chelsea last weekend, momentum is very much on the hosts' side.
Spurs haven't suffered a defeat of any kind since before the September international break, and with Palace winning just two of their last 10 away games in all competitions, it's another home win slotting into our Premier League acca here.
Prediction: Spurs to win
Rounding off our football accumulator is the game of the Premier League weekend, with Liverpool and Arsenal locking horns at Anfield, and as our experts struggle to split the sides, we're tipping an entertaining draw.
Hosts Liverpool are on a real streak at the moment, with seven victories (including penalty shootouts) from their last eight games, and with Arsenal arriving on an uncharacteristic run of just one win in three - including a humiliating defeat at League Two Fleetwood Town - the hosts will be full of confidence ahead of this one.
Mikel Arteta's champions still head the Premier League winner betting markets, and will always be tough to break down with five clean sheets under their belt already, but a lack of attacking quality is holding them back. We should be in for a blockbuster afternoon, but as two excellent sides cancel each other out, we're predicting a point apiece.
Prediction: Match to end in a draw
