I just have the one ride to look forward to on Saturday in the Strensall Stakes at York and I am really looking forward to it. Persica done ever so well winning at Newbury last time out on ground that was against him it felt. He is going to get his ground with the rain we’ve had up here. I don’t see why he wouldn’t like this track as it is much simpler than Newbury. He is in flying form, so I think he has a massive chance on the day. It’s a very competitive race with a lot of runners but I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else. Fingers crossed he does the job.
