Super Bowl LX: Winner odds & favourites

Ladbrokes runs through the Super Bowl LX winner odds
Kansas City Chiefs new favourites, replacing the Buffalo Bills
Lions, Eagles, Rams among contenders
The Kansas City Chiefs are the new favourites to win next year’s Super Bowl LX, according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes. Despite a rocky start and not even currently leading their own division, with several key contenders appearing flawed Patrick Mahomes' team has surged to the top of the market at 11/2, replacing the Buffalo Bills.
The Chiefs are followed by the chasing pack of the Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams and the reigning champions Philadelphia Eagles, who are all priced at 15/2. Buffalo, who had previously been favourites, have slipped to 9/1 after a shocking loss to the Miami Dolphins. It's been a thrilling season full of upsets so far, with several surprise contenders emerging from the pack.
Super Bowl LX winner odds
The Chiefs lead the market at 11/2, despite currently sitting outside the playoff picture with a record of 5-4. Kansas City, who have contested five of the past six Super Bowls, are third in the AFC West behind the 8-2 Denver Broncos (18/1) and 7-3 Los Angeles Chargers (25/1), but the bookies think that come the playoffs, the quality of Mahomes, Kelce and Andy Reid will shine through on the biggest stage.
A trio of NFC teams are joint-second favourites behind the Chiefs. The Eagles demolished the history-seeking Chiefs 40-22 to win their second Super Bowl back in February, and the bookies say they’re 15/2 to make it three this year. As ever, there's been plenty of noise in Philadelphia surrounding the offense, but at 7-2 they already look near certain to the win the NFC East.
At the same odds are the Detroit Lions, who have Aidan Hutchinson back from injury as a game-wrecker on the defense, while head coach Dan Campbell recently took back the reins of the offense. Also at 15/2 are the LA Rams, who look a serious threat and one of the most well-rounded teams in the league. Matthew Stafford is aging like a fine wine and at 37 is in the conversation to win his first MVP.
The Bills, who had been Super Bowl frontrunners through the early weeks, have slipped to fifth favourites at 9/1 after a stunning 30-13 defeat at the previously hapless Miami Dolphins, just a week after Josh Allen had laid down a marker by defeating the Chiefs. Questions remain over the defense, and too often Allen is forced to try and carry the team to victory.
Buffalo face a battle just to win the AFC East, as the New England Patriots (20/1) have stormed to 8-2 after seven wins in a row. After a few years in the post-Tom Brady wilderness, the Pats look to have already found their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye, who is putting together a sensational second-year campaign.
The Green Bay Packers (10/1) made plenty of noise by trading for Micah Parsons and humbling the Lions in Week 1, but have been inconsistent since then and lost star tight end Tucker Kraft to an ACL injury. The best defense in the league may well actually be the Seattle Seahawks (10/1), and quarterback Sam Darnold has established a telepathic connection to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who leads the league in receiving yards with over 1,000 already.
Jonathan Taylor is having all-time season for a running back, with a remarkable 17 total touchdowns in ten games, and could even force his way into the MVP race, which has been won by a quarterback every year since 2012. He's led the unfancied Indianapolis Colts (11/1) to an 8-2 record and they are legitimate contenders to win the AFC after a blockbuster trade for cornerback Sauce Gardner.
After a poor 1-5 start and drifting out in the odds, the Baltimore Ravens are back to 14/1 after the return of Lamar Jackson from injury and back-to-back wins. With the Steelers stumbling, Baltimore remain favourites to win the AFC North and still possess a squad packed with stars.
Tom Johnston of Ladbrokes said: “In a chaotic season with no clear frontrunner and shocking upsets every week, the only thing that seems reliable is that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will be there when it matters most in the postseason. Kansas City leads the market for now, but it could be anyone's year.
