US Open 2025 odds: who are the favourites?
US Open Men's Singles odds
The defending champion Jannik Sinner is the betting favourite to win the 2025 US Open at odds of 1/1. Coming off the back of a victorious Wimbledon, the Italian will aim to continue his dominance on the hard courts that have powered his rise to world number one.
Carlos Alcaraz is next in the running in the Men's Singles at odds of 17/10. After contesting the last two major finals with Sinner, the pair have now shared the last seven Grand Slam titles, and you wouldn't put it past them meeting in the final again. Carlitos won his first major here in 2022.
24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic follows the two standard-bearers at odds of 9/1. The Serbian is still pushing for that elusive 25th title, but Sinner's dominant semi-final victory appeared to suggest the 38-year-old is finally starting to struggle to keep up with the younger pair.
British star Jack Draper is fourth-favourite at 10/1 after a great year that has seen him rise to world number five. His breakthrough Major campaign came last year here when he reached the semi-finals, and although he's been nursing an injury his game suits the hard courts well.
Alexander Zverev (14/1) and Daniil Medvedev (16/1) are highly experienced competitors and former finalists in New York, with Zverev runner-up in 2020 before Medvedev won his sole Grand Slam in 2021.
The American duo of Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz (both 16/1) now find themselves in the world's top 10, and will be carrying the hopes of the home crowd at Flushing Meadows.
US Open Women's Singles odds
Aryna Sabalenka is the favourite to win the Women's Singles and defend her title at odds of 9/4, as the world number one aims to put recent Grand Slam near misses behind her and return to her success on the hard courts that have made her the player to beat on the WTA Tour.
Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek is seen as her closest challenger at odds of 3/1, after a dominant final on Centre Court where she didn't drop a single game to Amanda Anisimova. The six-time major winner looks back to her best after a period of poor form.
Coco Gauff is the leading American hope at Flushing Meadows and comes in at odds of 5/1. The 2023 US Open champion has had a good year, winning the WTA Finals in November before tasting Grand Slam success for the second time at Roland Garros, but suffered a shock first-round exit at Wimbledon.
18-year-old Mirra Andreeva's star continues to rise having reached the quarter-finals of the French Open and Wimbledon and is odds of 8/1. The Russian world number five is surely destined to win a Grand Slam, but has yet to make it past the second round here.
This year's other hard court major in Australia was won by Madison Keys, and she returns home at odds of 9/1 to repeat that success. US compatriots Amanda Anisimova (12/1) and Jessica Pegula (14/1) shouldn't be ruled out either.
Elena Rybakina (10/1) and Emma Raducanu (14/1) have formed an unexpected Doubles team at the Washington Open, and both are contenders for the Singles title in New York.
