Wimbledon 2025 final: Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz odds, preview & prediction

Sinner arrives in the final full of confidence after a dominant straight-sets win over Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals. The world number one had an early scare against Grigor Dimitrov, falling two sets behind before the Bulgarian retired, but has looked increasingly sharp since. His serve has been solid, his baseline game as clean as ever, and there were no signs of any lingering elbow issues in his performance against Djokovic.

Alcaraz is aiming for his third straight Wimbledon title and comes into this final off the back of a four-set win over Taylor Fritz. The Spaniard was tested early in the tournament by Fabio Fognini and Andrey Rublev but has grown stronger each round. His movement, variety and ability to come through the big points continue to make him the man to beat on grass.

Alcaraz vs Sinner head-to-head

Alcaraz leads their head-to-head 8-4 and has won each of their last five meetings.

That includes a five-set classic in the French Open final last month, where the Spaniard came from two sets down to win after 5 hours and 29 minutes in one of the best finals of all time.

Sinner won their only meeting on grass, which came in their first Wimbledon meeting back in 2022. Alcaraz leads 3-1 in Grand Slam meetings and 3-1 in finals.

Wimbledon Men's Singles final: Sinner vs Alcaraz prediction

This is their second Grand Slam final and another match that looks set to go the distance. Sinner was rock solid against Djokovic and looks comfortable on grass, but Alcaraz has repeatedly shown he can deliver in the tightest moments.

Alacaraz has won 14 of his 15 five-set matches and remains unbeaten in Grand Slam finals. With both players in top form, we’re backing the defending champion to edge it once again, with the match going the distance.

Prediction: Alcaraz to win in five sets
