Wimbledon reaches its climax on Sunday with a repeat of last month’s Roland Garros classic as Jannik Sinner faces Carlos Alcaraz in a blockbuster final. Sinner arrives in the final full of confidence after a dominant straight-sets win over Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals. The world number one had an early scare against Grigor Dimitrov, falling two sets behind before the Bulgarian retired, but has looked increasingly sharp since. His serve has been solid, his baseline game as clean as ever, and there were no signs of any lingering elbow issues in his performance against Djokovic.

This is their second Grand Slam final and another match that looks set to go the distance. Sinner was rock solid against Djokovic and looks comfortable on grass, but Alcaraz has repeatedly shown he can deliver in the tightest moments.
