Kansas City Chiefs @ Dallas Cowboys: NFL Week 13 Thanksgiving game odds and prediction

After pulling off surprising comeback wins on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs face off on Thanksgiving in Arlington, Texas, at 9.30pm UK time.
The Chiefs recovered from an 11-point, fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Indianapolis Colts at home in overtime, 23-20. It was the first one-score win this season for Kansas City, as they improved to 1-5 in such games. Harrison Butker made five field goals for the Chiefs.
The Cowboys matched the biggest comeback in team history, storming back from 21 down to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-21, on a Brandon Aubrey 42-yard field goal as time expired. QB Dak Prescott broke the Cowboys’ franchise record for passing yards in the win.
Both teams are currently outside the playoff standings, with the Cowboys in particular needing to do much more to get back into the NFC postseason race.
NFL Thanksgiving: Dallas Cowboys vs Kansas City Chiefs Week 13 odds, preview and prediction
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL Odds and Betting Trends
The Chiefs have lost five straight games against Dallas, and have also lost three straight road games this season. They are 1-4 straight up and against the spread away from home.
Dallas is 3-1-1 straight up and 3-2 against the spread at home. The Cowboys have played to the Over six times in eight games, while Kansas City has played to the Under in six straight.
Dak Prescott, who is tied for the second-most touchdown passes in the NFL with 23, is currently -150 to throw more than 1.5 TDs on Thanksgiving, something he has done six times in the past eight games for Dallas.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs' D got the job done against the Colts offence, which was ranked first in the league coming in. Indy was held to a season-low 255 yards, QB Daniel Jones was limited to a season-low 181 yards passing, and RB Jonathan Taylor was mostly a non-factor, rushing 16 times for just 58 yards. Kansas City will need to replicate that effort against the league’s new No. 1 offence on Thursday.
RB Kareem Hunt rushed 30 times for 104 yards while WR Rashee Rice had eight catches for 141 yards as QB Patrick Mahomes threw for a season-high 353 yards. If the Chiefs are to return to the playoffs and embark on another deep postseason run, it will require contributions from all over the roster.
Dallas Cowboys
These are the same old Cowboys. They’ll blow you away one week before frustrating you to death the next. They haven’t lost more than two games in a row, and their current two-game win streak is their longest of the season.
They have the top-ranked offence, top-ranked passing offence, and fourth-ranked scoring offence, averaging 29.1 points per game. They also have the 29th-ranked defence, 30th-ranked pass defence, and 31st-ranked scoring defence, allowing 28.5 points per game.
Dallas is the epitome of a .500 team, which, at 5-5-1, it is.
NFL Prediction: Who will win Chiefs vs Cowboys?
This is tricky. A holiday matchup just four days after both teams recorded arguably their biggest wins of the season. Will Dallas keep the momentum at home against a Chiefs side that has just one win away from Arrowhead Stadium? Or will Mahomes shred Dallas’ wonky D?
We’re going with a Chiefs win and a Cowboys cover. Butker gets another winner as time expires as Kansas City prevails, 28-27.
