Luke Littler priced as the pre-tournament favourite, with Luke Humphries his closest challenger
Reigning champion Gian van Veen also tipped for another promising tournament

Ahead of the PDC European Championship in Dortmund, Ladbrokes preview the highly anticipated event, with expert predictions, betting tips and live odds.
As always, world number one Luke Littler arrives as the man to beat, but with the teenager needing to arrest a rather concerning run of form, could this be the perfect opportunity for someone to sneak in and claim the trophy from under the favourite's nose?
Explore our tournament preview below, with a look at the favourites, latest darts odds, and our predicted winner.
Date: October 22 - October 25, 2026
Venue: Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany
Prize fund: £750,000
Winner's share: £150,000
Reigning champion: Gian van Veen
As is so often the case when he's in the running, Luke Littler heads the betting as Ladbrokes' favourite according to the latest European Championship winner odds, despite it being one of the few trophies he's never actually won in his already illustrious career.
The teenager disappointed at the World Grand Prix, losing to Luke Woodhouse in the opening round, but as the World Championship begins to appear over the horizon, the back-to-back world champ will be looking to hit some form - starting in Dortmund.
World number two Luke Humphries - who went all the way at the World Grand Prix - arrives with real momentum having won nine of his last 10 games, and it's the 31-year-old who is priced as the man most likely to challenge Littler this week.
Gerwyn Price and reigning champion Gian van Veen come next as the only other players with odds of 10/1 or shorter, before a small jump in the odds brings in Wessel Nijman and Jonny Clayton.
