It's the usual suspects at the top of the betting markets ahead of play, with darts world number one Luke Littler and long-time rival Luke Humphries out in front as the two favourites, with last year's champion Michael van Gerwen also looking to retain his crown as the field take to the oche in his home country.
Date: September 17-20, 2026
Venue: AFAS Live, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Prize fund: £450,000
Winner's share: £100,000
Reigning champion: Michael van Gerwen
Premier League champion, World Championship favourite, and world number one Luke Littler is once again entering an event as the bookies' favourite, with the teenager looking to make up for last year's final defeat to MVG. The Brit has reached back-to-back finals, and is fancied ahead of compatriot Luke Humphries to take home yet another piece of silverware.
Humphries is so often Littler's closest challenger, but Gerwyn Price and Wessel Nijman are also tipped to have a real chance at the World Series of Darts Finals this year, completing the top-four favourites.
Jonny Clayton - who impressed in the 2026 Darts Premier League - and 2025 champion Michael van Gerwen are the only other players to start the event with odds of 20/1 or under, before a handful of challengers get set to make their mark - with the likes of Chris Dobey, Gian van Veen, and James Wade all arriving with genuine hopes of going the distance.
Our prediction: Luke Littler to win the World Series of Darts 2026
