Ladbrokes share their predictions for Fleetwood Town vs Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, with the game taking place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026
Our prediction is Fleetwood 0-4 Arsenal, with the visitors’ rotated side still carrying considerable attacking quality
Max Dowman scored twice in the previous round and should get another opportunity from the start here

Fleetwood welcome Arsenal to Highbury Stadium for a place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. The hosts have already knocked out three teams without conceding in this season’s competition, but now face the side who Ladbrokes have as the favourites in their Premier League odds.
Mikel Arteta is expected to rotate ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool. Even so, the Gunners’ depth and Fleetwood’s recent struggles create several interesting angles for our four-leg Bet Builder.

Arsenal’s first Carabao Cup tie of the season produced six goals as they beat Ipswich 4-2. Fleetwood’s last five matches have featured 18 goals, an average of 3.6 per game, including 4-2 and 4-1 scorelines. Arsenal should create plenty against League Two opposition, making over 3.5 goals our opening selection.
Max Dowman made a major impression in the previous round, scoring twice in Arsenal’s victory over Ipswich. Injuries to Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis strengthen his prospects of starting on the right. With Dowman likely to attack Fleetwood from the opening whistle, we are backing the teenager to register at least two shots on target.
Kai Havertz has gone five appearances without scoring and was left out of the starting XI against Everton, with Viktor Gyokeres leading the line. A rotated cup side could offer Havertz the opportunity to start and rediscover his touch in front of goal.
Arsenal arrive unbeaten in five matches since the international break, winning four of them. Fleetwood have lost their last two League Two games, conceding six goals across defeats to Cheltenham and Exeter City. The hosts have enjoyed an excellent cup run, but Arsenal’s depth should come up trumps over 90 minutes.
