Liverpool are up against one of the Premier League's most in-form sides as they welcome Brighton to Anfield. The Seagulls have won five of their seven games, scoring an impressive 23 goals and they will head to Merseyside thinking they have every chance to claim another victory.

Brighton were 2-1 winners in their last game against the Reds, while they have led at Anfield in three of their last five visits there. Liverpool's rivals Manchester United also have a tricky home game against Bournemouth, who the Red Devils have failed to beat in any of their last six meetings. The Cherries secured successive 3-0 victories at Old Trafford in both 2024/25 and 2025/26, before they drew 4-4 last season in a thrilling game where the visitors led 3-2.

Bournemouth have not started the season brilliantly under new manager Marco Rose, having only won their first game of the season on Sunday, but Man Utd have also struggled this season, trailing in four of their seven games and we believe the pressure could grow on Michael Carrick as they go behind against the Cherries again.
