Ladbrokes provide tips and insights into the highly anticipated Holborn and St Pancras by-election set for 8 October
The by-election gives Green Party leader Zack Polanski the chance to become an MP
A victory would see Polanski enter Parliament and give the Greens another high-profile voice in the House of Commons

In what is set to be one of the biggest by-elections of the year, the latest Holborn and St Pancras by-election odds have Labour tipped for victory.
The contest was triggered by the resignation of former Prime Minister Keir Starmer, giving Green Party leader Polanski the opportunity to win his former seat and enter Parliament.
Polanski has been selected as the Green Party candidate for the by-election, having previously lived and worked in the constituency. The vote will take place on 8 October.
The latest Holborn and St Pancras by-election odds have Labour as the 1/10 favourites to retain the seat, suggesting the party is very much expected to win.
The Greens are Labour’s closest challengers at 11/2, meaning Polanski is considered the only candidate with a realistic chance of stopping the constituency from remaining red.
Reform UK are priced at 150/1, while the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are both 200/1 outsiders. Restore Britain are even further back in the betting at 500/1.
The odds suggest this is effectively a two-party race between Labour and the Greens, although Polanski will need to produce a major upset if he is to become an MP.
Labour have selected Sagal Abdi-Wali, the leader of Camden Council, as their candidate for the by-election. However, the Greens will hope that having their party leader on the ballot can make the contest more competitive than the odds suggest.
Polanski has said that he would remain Green Party leader regardless of the result. This by-election could therefore be hugely significant, with victory giving him a seat in the House of Commons and a much bigger platform from which to lead the Greens.
For what it’s worth, Labour may be the clear odds-on favourites to win the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, but the Greens are comfortably ahead of every other opposition party in the betting.
