Joao Pedro to score in Fulham vs Chelsea

The first Monday Night Football of the season sees West London rivals Fulham and Chelsea come to blows at Craven Cottage in Xabi Alonso's first game in charge of the Blues.

Despite missing out on Brazil's World Cup squad, Joao Pedro remains Chelsea's main man up front after scoring 20 goals in his first season at Stamford Bridge last term and is seen as one of Erling Haaland's main challengers for the Golden Boot in 2026/27.

The 24-year-old will be well rested after his World Cup snub and raring to go for Chelsea and will have the added support of £117million man Morgan Rogers providing chances for him alongside Cole Palmer.

Donyell Malen to score in Fiorentina vs Roma

It was hard to find a more prolific forward than Donyell Malen during the second half of last season following his loan move from Aston Villa, with the Dutchman scoring 14 goals in 18 Serie A games.

Having now made that loan switch permanent, Malen will be hoping to continue his goalscoring exploits this season, starting with Roma's home game against Fiorentina in their Serie A opener.

The 27-year-old failed to score for the Netherlands during the World Cup, but their disappointing early exit means he has had close to a full pre-season with the Giallorossi and he is unsurprisingly the favourite in the goalscorer markets for this match at just 1/1.
