Manchester City to win

Enzo Maresca's first season in charge at the Etihad had been plain sailing but has hit a rocky patch recently, with consecutive losses seeing them lose their spot at the top of the Premier League table, while also being outclassed in a 4-2 defeat at home to PSG. City won their other two Champions League matches against Porto and AEK Athens.

Leipzig have had a decent start to the season and sit 4th in the Bundesliga, but have suffered some heavy defeats against stronger opposition, losing 6-1 to Bayern Munich and 4-1 twice to Como and Real Madrid. They've also lost each of the last three against Man City, conceding 13 goals across those games. We're backing Maresca's side to get back to winning ways in east Germany.

Both teams to score

Man City have scored in every away game this season, while Leipzig have scored in every home game. Each side is seeing plenty of goals in their games, with Leipzig matches averaging 4.1 goals per game and City games averaging 3.7 goals. From one Norway star to another, Antonio Nusa enjoyed a breakout campaign at the World Cup during their run to the quarter-finals, and has carried that form into the domestic season. The winger already has four goals and six assists in eight Bundesliga games, and could exploit a problem position at right-back for City.
