Ladbrokes share predictions for Man United vs Bournemouth in the Premier League
Bournemouth predicted to win 3-2, with a goal-fest anticipated at Old Trafford
Marcus Tavernier backed for a shot on target, with Carlos Baleba committing a foul

Manchester United and Bournemouth could hardly have had more contrasting weeks in Europe, with the Red Devils suffering a thrashing in Como while Bournemouth thumped Milan to record the most famous win in their history - but will that form carry into this Premier League clash?
The Cherries haven't lost to Man United in their last six meetings, and have won two of their last three visits to Old Trafford, so with Michael Carrick already under immense pressure in the Red Devils hot seat, the hosts simply have to halt the trend - which should make for a genuine Sunday-afternoon cracker.

With five of the last six meetings between Man United and Bournemouth featuring at least three goals, we're predicting much of the same this weekend, particularly with the rejuvenated Cherries looking to dismantle a bruised Utd backline. Bournemouth have scored at least three goals on each of their last three trips to Old Trafford, but Michael Carrick's men have also scored seven in three games against this weekend's opponent, so with this fixture tending to be such an end-to-end affair, we're backing over 2.5 goals on Sunday.
One of the standout names in what has been a difficult start to the Premier League season for Bournemouth, Marcus Tavernier already has four goals this term, and having scored at Old Trafford in last season's 4-4 draw, we're tipping him for another effort on target here. The 27-year-old is averaging roughly 2.5 shots per 90 this season, with more than half of them hitting the target, and against a Man United side who have kept just one competitive clean sheet since May, we're expecting the Cherries to try their luck at every opportunity - with Tavernier one of the main threats.
Carlos Baleba has looked promising since stepping into the Man United midfield, so we're expecting him to start this Sunday as Carrick looks to turn things around - but it won't be an easy day, so we're tipping the 22-year-old to commit at least one foul. In just two Premier League appearances so far, Baleba is committing more than 2.5 fouls per 90, and with Youri Tielemans looking rather leggy alongside him, the former Brighton man will have to do most of the defensive work - which could see him overstep the mark at some point.
Unbeaten on three trips to Old Trafford, with back-to-back 3-0 victories secured in 2023 and 2024, Bournemouth have no fear when coming to the Theatre of Dreams, and we're backing them to capitalise on United's dreadful form with another away win here. The Cherries arrive off the back of an unforgettable 3-0 win over Milan in the Europa League, while United's winless run stretched to seven games as they were thrashed by Como in the Champions League, and with three points taking Marco Rose's side above their hosts in the table, the incentive is strong for another memorable Cherries away day.
