The Manchester derby headlines the Premier League weekend on Sunday as Manchester United and Manchester City go head-to-head for the first time this season.

United have had a mixed start with Michael Carrick as their permanent boss, picking up four points from their opening three games but they did enjoy a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Sabah FK in the Champions League on Thursday. Man City sit top of the Premier League with three wins from three as well as a victory over Porto in Europe but their trip to Old Trafford will undoubtedly be Enzo Maresca's biggest test yet since taking over as manager.

Erling Haaland to score anytime

Erling Haaland has begun the season in typical Haaland form, scoring five goals in his four competitive games this season, with another Premier League Golden Boot seemingly his to lose. The Norwegian has eight goals in seven Manchester derby appearances in the league, albeit only two of those have come at Old Trafford. Still, given his strong start to the campaign, our experts are backing the prolific striker to find the net on Sunday.

Bruno Fernandes to have 3+ shots

Bruno Fernandes has four goals and an assist in his four United games this season and remains the Red Devils' talisman for this game. The United skipper loves to shoot at every opportunity, letting fly at a rate of five shots per match so far this season. With the hosts hopeful of taking the game to their rivals, we think the Portugal international will have at least three efforts.

Derbies can often be feisty encounters and with this seemingly one of the most wide-open Manchester derbies for some time, there should be plenty of tackles flying in from both teams. United were 2-0 winners in this fixture in Carrick's first game in January, but the Red Devils' start to the season has been less convincing than their rivals, with their two goals conceded in each of the league games so far suggesting there will be plenty of opportunities for the Citizens to exploit.
