NFL 2025: Super Bowl Odds, MVP Favourites and Playoff Predictions
Super Bowl betting odds: four contenders lead the market
The race for Super Bowl LX is wide open at the start of the 2025 season, with no single team pulling clear in the market. The Buffalo Bills have fallen to fourth-favourites at 15/2. That comes as they've stalled after their fast start. The Bills still carry the most complete roster on paper, but recent defeats have seen them lose their spot as front-runners.
The Kansas City Chiefs (9/2) have climbed to the top of the betting market, with a recent win over Detroit reminding the league they’re never far from the conversation, even without their usual fluency on offense. The Detroit Lions now sit at 6/1, with injuries beginning to bite, but their performances still see them warrant their spot as second-favourites.
Division rivals Green Bay Packers follow at 7/1, with the Micah Parsons trade yet to fully translate into dominance. Defending champions Philadelphia Eagles are 9/1, with inconsistent form and growing scrutiny around their attack cooling momentum for now.
The LA Rams (10/1) and Indianapolis Colts (11/1) headline the cluster of contenders beneath them. Sean McVay’s Rams continuing to look dangerous on both sides of the ball. AFC heavyweights Baltimore Ravens had drifted to 20/1 after a shocking 1-5 start, hampered by injuries and defensive frailties, but are now at 16/1.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (25/1) were emerging as a serious threat in the NFC, but have seen their odds fall in the final few days of October. The San Francisco 49ers are also 20/1 and going through an injury crisis of their own, but are still viewed as dangerous if they get healthy.
NFL MVP favourites: Allen and Jackson lead the race
The NFL MVP race looks just as competitive as the Super Bowl market, but two clear favourites have emerged, with Josh Allen (9/5) and Patrick Mahomes (2/1) pulling clear at the top of the market.
The biggest mover is Baker Mayfield (3/1), who has vaulted into serious contention after a stunning 5–1 start with Tampa Bay. He’s engineered four game-winning drives already this season and has become a genuine storyline in the awards race.
Behind the leading trio, Rams QB Matthew Stafford (10/1) and Detroit's Jared Goff (14/1) have both stayed in the conversation as they lead two of the league's most exciting offenses.
Jordan Love (14/1) and Justin Herbert (16/1) have cooled slightly after early-season momentum, but both remain firmly in the hunt if their teams stay in the playoff picture. Drake Maye (20/1) has played himself into dark-horse territory thanks to New England’s resurgence and his growing poise in big games.
Among the non-quarterbacks, Christian McCaffrey (80/1) and Bijan Robinson (100/1) are the shortest-priced skill players but would need historic production to overhaul the quarterbacks dominating the race.
