Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings

Chicago were mightily impressive in their opener as they put 59 points past the Carolina Panthers. It all looks to be clicking into gear for QB Caleb Williams and coach Ben Johnson, who will relish going up against Vikings defensive guru Brian Flores. The Bears defense is not up to the standard of their offense, but Minnesota's quarterback situation is unclear, with Kyler Murray a doubt with concussion. Caron Wentz would get the nod in his absence ahead of former first-round pick JJ McCarthy. It's consecutive NFC North games for the Vikings after their win over Green Bay, but we're backing the Bears' offensive firepower to cover the 5.5-point spread at home.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cleveland Browns

The Buccaneers lost 33-27 to the Bengals in their opener, which was remarkable considering they had four turnovers. If Tampa Bay can avoid shooting themselves in the foot, they should have far too much for a Browns team that has little redeemable about it. Deshaun Watson was terrible in a 34-10 defeat to the Jags in Week 1 and Myles Garrett is no longer around to scare offenses. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield should be fired up against the team that drafted him first overall in 2018, and we think the Bucs comfortably win.

Denver Broncos vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Two AFC playoff teams last year meet in an intriguing early-season matchup, with plenty considering both as potential Super Bowl dark horses. Jacksonville had little trouble disposing of the hopeless Browns, but it was a Week 1 dud for Denver as they were swatted aside by the Chiefs 31-10. The Jags are balanced in all phases with their defense frequently forcing turnovers, and have happy memories of a 34-20 win in this stadium in late 2025. We're tipping them to repeat the trick again and emerge with a win to leave the Broncos 0-2.

Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks

The biggest surprise in Week 1 saw the Arizona Cardinals, who were the largest betting underdogs of the week, go into LA and beat the Chargers 26-14. It'll be a tough ask to repeat that against the Super Bowl holders, but it was a very encouraging start for new coach Mike LaFleur. Seattle QB Sam Darnold was injured on the first drive of the season, but that didn't stop Jaxon Smith-Njigba from having another huge game against the Patriots. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year had 1,793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 2025. JSN had eight catches for 122 yards and a touchdown last week, and we're backing him to find the endzone in Arizona.
