I love Chester, it is a great meeting. It is very unusual with a unique track. It is a difficult track, and you have to be lucky. It is always exciting and the draw is crucial.
He is a nice two-year-old who I thought a lot of when he ran at Bath. He was a little bit green but ultimately ran well. He has come from that run and sharpened up an awful lot. He shows enough speed and with a nice draw he should be competitive. I am leaning towards him as my best chance of the day because he ran nicely first time and he’s definitely improved.
She has been second four times in competitive handicaps. She has been unlucky on a couple of occasions. I rode her around Wolverhampton which is a sharp enough track which gives me the impression that Chester shouldn’t be an issue. She has a nice draw in three and John Butler’s horses are in good form, so I’d imagine she has a good chance.
