NOTE: Saffron Dandy is now a non-runner
Sean Levey has two rides at Chester on Wednesday, May 6. The Ladbrokes ambassador previews them both in his latest exclusive blog.

Saffron Dandy - Chester - 3.40 race odds
El Nay - Chester - 4.10 race odds
We start Wednesday at Chester with Saffron Dandy in the Class 2 handicap. She managed to get her head in front in a Class 2 at Lingfield a couple of months back on the all-weather there. But she's come up short in two efforts since. We're hopeful she'll find improvement for the switch to turf, but she hasn't been given the best of draws, which is always a challenge at a track like Chester. She's been doing a lot of the right things at home, though, so we'll be hoping with a bit of luck she can run well.
El Nay is my second of the day in the Maiden Stakes, and he's one we've thought a lot of. He ran really well first time out at Lingfield, and just ran into a really nice horse there and finished second. You could argue he did similar last time out as well. It seems a very competitive novice, and two horses in there already have ratings of 90 or over, so he'll have to run to a high standard if he's to win. But he's another in great form, and from what I've seen of him so far, I'd be confident he'll be competitive here if he stays the trip.
