Ladbrokes brings you double tips for day 37 of the World Cup
Argentina backed to fall short in final, with Aston Villa tipped for Super Cup glory
Emi Martinez expected to suffer World Cup heartbreak, before bouncing back with Villa.

Check out our 2026 World Cup double tips for day 37 of the tournament, as Emi Martinez prepares for a huge few weeks for club and country.
There are no World Cup matches taking place for the next few days, with the next game being Saturday's third-place play-off between France and England, but after Argentina's dramatic semi-final win over the Three Lions, attention has already turned to Sunday's final against Spain.
The reigning champions are one win away from retaining the World Cup, but our double starts with Argentina falling short against a brilliant Spain side, before Aston Villa are backed to beat PSG in the Super Cup on August 12.
Below you'll find our double tips for day 37 of the World Cup, which we have been providing on a daily basis throughout the tournament.

The first pick of our day 37 double comes from Sunday's World Cup final, where we're backing Argentina to fall short against Spain.
It was heartbreak for England on July 15, with Emi Martinez and Argentina knocking the Three Lions out of the World Cup at the semi-final stage, setting up a final between the reigning champions and one of the most impressive sides in the tournament.
But while Argentina are just one win away from going back-to-back, we don't think Lionel Scaloni's side will quite get over the line this time. Spain have been stellar throughout the World Cup, conceding just one goal across their three group stage matches and four knockout ties, with their 2-0 semi-final win over France showing exactly why they are such a difficult team to break down.
Argentina may have won every World Cup match so far, unlike Spain, but they have had to rely on big moments at crucial times. They needed late drama to come from two goals down against Egypt, extra time to see off Switzerland, and then another late turnaround to beat England in the semi-final.
That resilience is admirable, but Spain look too well organised, too coherent as a unit and too controlled in the biggest moments to slip up here. So our first pick is for Argentina to lose the World Cup final, with Spain tipped to lift the trophy.
However, we think things will get better for Emi Martinez after the heartbreak of losing the World Cup final, with Aston Villa backed to beat PSG in the Super Cup on August 12.
The game sees Villa, the Europa League winners, take on back-to-back Champions League victors PSG, and we're tipping Unai Emery's side to edge it.
PSG will go into the game as the side with the greater European pedigree, but their last Super Cup outing showed they can be vulnerable at the start of the season. Against Tottenham in 2025, they needed 85th and 94th-minute goals to force penalties, before eventually winning the shootout.
A similar slow start could open the door for Villa, especially with PSG potentially needing to manage the return of several key players after the latter stages of the World Cup. Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola were involved deep into the tournament with France, while Fabian Ruiz is preparing for the final with Spain.
Martinez could also need less time to get back up to speed as a goalkeeper, and Villa will hope their No.1 is ready to play a part. Emery, meanwhile, should have no shortage of motivation, having been knocked out of the Champions League by PSG in 2025, while his own spell in Paris did not deliver the European success he would have wanted.
So Aston Villa to win the Super Cup is the second and final pick of our double, with Martinez backed to bounce back from World Cup disappointment by lifting silverware with his club.
